The other week I was walking among the books in Sam's Club when I came upon this book Thirst No. 1. At first the title intrigued me but upon further investigation, I noticed it was written by one of my favorite authors from high school. I couldn't believe my eyes! I immediately placed it into the cart, awaiting eagerly to read it that night.With all the vampire craze that has been going on, this book was a great read. Granted, it had no sexy Edward, however there is a luscious vampire named Alisa that has been around for over 2000 years. Thirst No. 1 has three different stories and it is quite difficult to put down. Even my husband is having difficulty doing the same. If you have enjoyed the Twilight Series, I think you would like the Alisa series.
I am longing to read the next series that will arrive in stores in January. Thankfully, this next month should fly by and I've already trying to find my old Christopher Pike books to keep me busy until then.
